Rennea Couttenye, a Venezuelan musician and teacher living in San Francisco, CA, expressed her desire to connect deeply with her country and make a significant contribution to it.<\/p>\n
Maurizio Gigola, storyteller and film director, figured how to help her make her dream come true. He proposed to make a film together based in Venezuela. She could pick a topic.<\/p>\n
She chose music – to document Venezuelan music as played in its most authentic context and see who it is expanding globally.<\/p>\n
In 2018 they started the project: Venezuelan Music Movie. The working title of the feature documentary is Cambur Pint\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
